RARE Original Wes Wilson The Sound Rock Poster for Bill Graham Presents Jefferson Airplane, Big Brother & Holding Company, and Muddy Waters.
"The Sound" is often considered to be the best rock poster art example of the Psychedelic style from the late 60s Hippie Era Designed by the late Wes Wilson in 1966, this extremely rare black & white poster is from the very first printing pre-concert date. Subsequent printings post-concert are in color.
The poster measures approximately 14” x 25”. I can ship it in a cheapo frame if that makes the buyer more comfortable. If not, it will be shipped unframed between heavy cardboard.
Poster was hung with tacks and has minor edge/corner damage. See pictures. I am by no means a professional grader and the poster over a half-century old!
