"Points" is a very easy to knit two color in a row sweater that first appeared in
Rowan Book 2
published in 1987.  Knit in 9 shades of vintage Rowan Designer DK and 5 shades of Rowan DK Fleck the colors are still vibrant together decades later.  A wonderful blend of deep jewel tones, equally wearable by men and women.   The pattern has a man's and a woman's variant with shorter sleeves on the woman's version. Destined to become a wardrobe classic for years.  Both versions come in a single size with a finished chest/bust measurement of 43 inches.  Given the geometric nature of the design you could size it up or down if you like.   We can furnish additional wool as needed.  The pattern includes simple shaping, a crew neck with a polo collar, and striped rib bands.   It is suitable for intermediate knitters who are comfortable with carrying two colors in a row.  The pattern calls for a tension of 22 stitches and 24 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 7 (4.5 mm) needles.
