    Description

This is a vintage second print poster (approx. 14" x 20", and printed very shorty after the shows by Chet Helms. This is an authorized printing of this poster, not some later reprint or bootleg), promoting a series of shows featuring the Grateful Dead & Quicksilver Messenger Service. These shows took place June 10 & 11, 1966 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. This classic sixties psychedelic image, "QUICK & THE DEAD" (first time a skeleton was used for a Dead poster), was designed by Wes Wilson, and is the 12th image in the Family Dog series. The poster has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, and remains in EXCELLENT/FLAWLESS condition, and would make a very nice substitute for the much more expensive first print (,000). This is guaranteed to be an AUTHENTIC Family Dog poster, and we will gladly issue a COA upon request. Shipping is (U.S.), which we are always happy to combine on multiple purchases. Thank you for visiting my auction and please feel free to check out my other current offerings for similar Fillmore era items.  QUESTIONS???  Please call Jim at 1-863-660-1096.
