Beautiful Transparent Bi-color Ametrine Gemstone,14X10.5mm,8.10cts,Emerald Cut

Description

This is a lovely large untreated Ametrine gemstone in an Emerald Cut that weighs about 8.10 carats and is 14X10.5mm with a depth of 7.9mm. Ametrine is a naturally occurring variety of quartz that is a mixture of both Amethyst and Citrine and displays the two-tone colors you see here of purple and yellow. Most Ametrines are from Boivia. This stone is beautifully cut and eye clean.
I have decided to sell some gemstones that at one time I had the intention to use, but never got around to it. Gemstones are  hard to photograph, so sometimes I use a zoom lens on my camera to show clarity and details, but keep in mind, the stones are much smaller than the photos appear so please pay close attention to the dimensions. The colors might look different on different monitors so double check my description for color. I always say the weight is "about" a certain amount of carats because I realize that not all weight scales weigh in exactly the same and can be off by a tiny fraction up or down, but all in all my weight calculations are fairly accurate. Although I call the stone pre-owned because I owned it a long time as it was purchased in the 1980's, but it is new condition - never used and has been stored carefully.
Please note I am not a gem dealer, although I probably have more knowledge about stones than most people since I have been collecting stones my entire life and studied color stones with the GIA. I'm just selling a few pieces I that never had the opportunity to use, and I'd like to see them go to someone who will enjoy and use them. I am not a store so I do not accept returns, as my goal is to thin out my collections, so please be sure you really love this gemstone before you buy it. To put your mind at ease about "no returns", if you find that any information about the materials in this item are not as described, which more than likely will not happen since I take lots of time in describing my pieces, I might consider a return, but I do not except returns if you have buyer's regret or if something doesn't fit, so please read the description carefully and feel free to ask any questions you might have before you bid or buy.
