A beautiful 1860-80's solid silver Chinese Export filigree calling card case.
The case has a two position clasp, hinged on the left side to fold open.
On the front of the case is a hand painted portrait on mother of pearl.
There are losses to the painting due to silver polishing.
The blue eyed blonde haired women is wearing a gorgeous pastel pink Victorian dress on a blue backdrop.
The decorative motif of the delicate filigree wonderfully compliments the portrait. The case is a high grade silver.
Could use a good hand polish / cleaning
We are selling this as found, the buyer can elect to polish.
